Welcome Pastor Jeanie!
We welcome Reverend Jeanie Swanson as our pastor on Sunday, June 28th. Now in her third ministerial appointment, Jeanie is a 21-year veteran of the United States Army. Rev. Swanson holds a master’s degree from The Catholic University of America, and is nearing completion of a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. She has travelled extensively, and has a great love of visiting historical and Biblical sites.
Originally from Gilmer County, West Virginia, Jeanie has a background in music; she and her husband, Dan, also a musician, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in July. They have one son, Michael, who lives in Portland, Oregon.
