
Rev. Steve Keck attended the University of South Carolina Upstate graduating in 2005 with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Psychology and Sociology. He received his Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2008.
Prior to his appointment to Broad Street UMC in 2016, Steve served the Gray Court/Trinity United Methodist Charge in Gray Court from June 2001 to November 2002, Green Pond United Methodist Church in Gray Court from November 2002 until June 2010 and the Johnston/Harmony United Methodist Charge in Johnston from June 2010 until June 2016.
Steve was ordained an Elder in the South Carolina Conference in 2010. He is married to Laura and they have 3 grown sons and two beautiful granddaughters.
Steve enjoys gardening, woodworking, golf and the Gamecocks.

Oropeza is a 2007 graduate of Erskine College with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Sacred Music and Voice, and a 2010 graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary with a Masters of Church Music degree with emphasis in Choral Conducting and Voice. He has served as a music intern in the Soli Deo Gloria Program at First Presbyterian Church, Greenwood, S.C. and as Interim Director of Music at Newberry A.R.P. in Newberry S.C. A native of Newberry, S.C., Jeramy is an active baritone soloist in the Upstate and sings with Vocal Arts of Newberry. When not making music, he is an active actor, director, designer, and board member with the Newberry Community Players at the historic Ritz Theatre in Downtown Newberry. He enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
